I am the youngest of fifteen children. We were ten boys and five girls. There was a mad time when we fielded a complete rugby team on our own! And we used to win. Most of the boys in the other teams were scared to tackle our sisters. We all went to university and each of us had our own student loan. It was good arrangement. The old man said he was not responsible for education, only food and health matters. So as each of us finished school it was off to the bank to apply for our student loan.
Consolidate student loans to save money
There are eight of us in the family and we are at university at the same time and there are 8 student loans running at the same time. My father came up with a bright idea: all these student loans come from the same bank. One of you, he pointed at me, go in there and ask them if they will consolidate student loans. I’m pretty sure you will all save money on the reduction in administration charges. I was nervous when I saw the manager, but I put the question to him: will you consolidate student loans? He agreed.
consolidate student loans
I have four student loans running at the same time. Besides the repayment of the capital I borrowed, there is the interest and the finance charges and the administration charges, it’s quite a hefty whack every month, made worse by the poor student jobs I manage to find. So I went to the bank and asked if they will consolidate student loans so I could at least save on administration fees. The bank agreed instantly. Question: why didn’t the bank suggest that I consolidate student loans years ago? I could have saved a packet and reduced a lot of worry.
